Support Sessions
Initial Consult (Free of Charge)
​Little Help Education Support offers a free initial consultation to carers and students, consisting of two meetings.
​​
The first is conducted privately with carers and aims to gather information about previous learning experiences and to identify their child's needs.
​
The second meeting is conducted with the student and aims to
develop a positive working relationship while discussing the student's emotional and academic goals.
​
If all parties are happy after the initial consultation process, the student's learning journey with Little Help Education Support can begin.
Preferably, students commit to attending sessions for at least one school term. During this term, Individual Learning Support Plans will be developed and reviewed. At the end of the term, the student's progress is assessed and celebrated, and future learning goals are discussed and identified with students and carers.
Learning Support Sessions
One on One Learning Sessions are available from Monday-Thursday at the following times:
-10:00-10:45 -11:00-11:45 -3:00-3:45 -4:00-4:45 -5:00-5:45.

Sessions will take place at a location best suited to the student..
​​
Each session will run for approximately 45 minutes and cost $70, which ​
can be paid in cash or via bank transfer.
​​
​​Planning and resource development will occur outside of session times.
​​
There will be a strong emphasis on fun and learning through specifically designed games.
​​
Any diagnostic testing conducted will be done in a trauma-sensitive manner.
​​​
Depending on the learning needs and goals of the student, support sessions will focus on content and/or learning behaviours and strategies. ​
